Notice ID: ICE-DCR-RFI-001
Successful law enforcement operations require adaptation to changing public safety threats and the ability to continually refine processes and modernize information technologies. The use of modern technologies for retrieval of critical court documents presents ERO with an opportunity to retrieve documents quickly and conveniently from long distance outside a Field Office’s Area of Responsibility (AOR). Currently, court-certified court documents are retrieved by ERO employees in person, or via U.S. Mail, which costs government man-hours and can cause unnecessary delays.
This is a request for information (RFI) for court document retrieval services. The purpose of this request is to conduct market research into obtaining court document retrieval services, allowing ICE ERO Field Offices to efficiently retrieve mission-critical court records. The required court document retrieval services contract will improve the efficiency of ERO and assist in the development of leads which permit ERO Field Offices to focus resources on priority cases involving noncitizens that pose a threat to national security, public safety, and border security.
Accordingly, ERO is seeking a court document retrieval service provider to provide a web-based software subscription that will allow ERO to request, track and manage certified and uncertified court documents. At this time ERO anticipates between 3,000 – 4,000 users of the software subscription. This number could increase up to 7,500 users depending on the viability of the records received over time.
