Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Director of the Marine and Aviation Cyber Center (MACC). Provide oversight, standardization, and coordination of operations for effective and efficient planning. Plan and execute operational programs including web operations, data distribution, network and administrative systems, and data center operations. Manage and oversee a division budget and allocates the budget across subordinate branches.
- Direct Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) wide enterprise IT standardization, efficiency, and Modernization efforts. Apply expert, comprehensive knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), functional policies, procedures, and techniques to achieve modernization and sound management. Develop and coordinate needed changes to operational plans and services.
- Ensure MACC is mission focused. Identify, prioritize, and document requirements to establish service-level agreements with external providers as well as across the OMAO enterprise. Establish, evaluate, and report on program performance and ensure sound management of all provided IT services.
- Perform full range of supervisory functions for IT staff including, planning, assigning, and reviewing work. Manage operations through subordinate supervisors; ensuring sound operations. Set work plans and evaluate staffing needs for in-service or contracted work. Recognize employee performance through continuous feedback, annual evaluations and organizational recognition programs.
