Description
The FBI acquired an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system capable of managing its human resources requirements. The FBI also procured and integrator to assist with the implementation of the ERP. This system, which is built on the Oracle PeopleSoft platform, HR Source, went live September 2013 and supports core human resources functions FBI-wide. Since that time, with the assistance of the integrator, FBI has released all the major modules to include CORE HR, Job Profile Manager, Talent Acquisition and ePerformance. The FBI also bolted-on functionality to handle position management, personal action requests, and other personnel related actions in the system. The FBI over the years has purchased software to manage retirements, medical, physical and psychological requirements, training, application transparency, text messaging, streamlining of the background process other processes. The integrator has also assisted in deploying functionality associated with software capabilities. In addition to the functionality mentioned above, the FBI is still exploring ways to onboard, intake, manage documents and overall streamline processes that affect how it does business.
