Responsibilities:
- Responsible for directing the scheduling, design, development, and implementation of projects within established guidelines.
- Plans, organizes, and directs the efforts of computer specialists (both systems analysts and programmers), project managers and management analysts, in all activities required to produce and maintain administrative computer systems used by both line staff and management.
- Performs feasibility studies, documents the existing methods in use, designs new systems, designs and writes new computer programs, prepares system and program test plans, directs the execution of unit and system testing, prepares user instructions and procedures, and implements systems.
- Determines nationwide procedures and policy in conjunction with system users.
