DOL OASAM seeking Director of Enterprise Data Services

Major duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Serves as Director of Enterprise Data Services, overseeing and directing data management and analytics teams to design and implement enterprise-wide data management, business intelligence and advanced analytics project(s) or program(s) with organization-wide stakeholders.
• Communicates and tracks key performance metrics across departments.
• Applies statistics and data modeling to gain actionable business insights and boost customer productivity and revenue.
• Analyzes business requirements and processes and makes recommendations to TIE senior leadership for implementation.
• Creates and maintains design and requirements documents to identify the development needs for streamlining and improving agency operations.
• Serves as expert consultant and advisor to Chief Technology Officer (CTO)/Deputy CTO regarding the application of DOL, scientific and statistical standards to data evaluation and analysis in the development of high-priority analyses and actionable metrics.
• Establishes, implements and employs predictive modeling and advanced statistical analysis processes to facilitate business decision-making for TIE senior leadership.
• Builds strong relationships with key OCIO customer organizations and user communities.
• Coordinates with all staff elements and contractors responsible for IT support and delivery to ensure activities align with OCIO’s strategic plan and departmental objectives.
• Formulates and defends an IT budget and ensures maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the use of IT resources.
• Plans and assigns work based on priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.
• Develops performance standards and evaluates work performance.
• Advises, counsels and instructs employees on both work and administrative matters.
• Provides active leadership in the equal employment opportunity (EEO) program.
• Provides direction and support in day-to-day operations of OCIO project management initiatives.
