DOS Bureau of Diplomatic Security seeking Director, Office of Information Security

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures programs, plans, & policies are integrated into an overall plan of operation; works with subordinate Division Chiefs, providing continuity of leadership in assessing mission, work requirements, developing organizational and operational plans.
  • Administers Office worldwide programs and delegated authority to direct and evaluate program operations; translates objectives into specific projects, determining program emphasis; formulates, defends, and justifies personnel and financial resources.
  • Sets policy for organizations managed. Determines program emphasis and operating guidelines and understands and communicates agency policies and priorities throughout the Department of State (DOS).
  • Directs the certification and accreditation (C&A) of all Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and SCI systems within DOS facilities worldwide; oversees the development and implementation of SCI systems policies and procedures.
