Duties
As a Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Management, you will:
- Advise the Assistant Inspector General for Management and Office of Management senior staff on major operational and program issues involving human resources, information technology, budget, procurement, records management, facilities management, and all security related programs.
- Promote principles of quality management amongst Office of Management program offices and the Office of the Inspector General (e.g., a culture of teamwork and collaboration; customer focus; employee involvement and career development; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and continuous improvement in carrying out responsibilities).
- Manage the development, coordination and implementation of administrative and support services, and corresponding policies and procedures, as required by the Office of Inspector General in accordance with laws and regulations and the policies and priorities of the Office of the Inspector General. Ensure administrative procedures are in place to facilitate proper internal management, e.g. approval and authorization requirements, access limitations, documentation requirements.
- Oversee the Office of the Inspector General’s personnel, information security, and physical security programs. Review and approve policies and procedures developed by the security staff.
