TRE OCIO RFI and Draft PWS: DO Treasury Operations Emergency Response Systems

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) for the Treasury Departmental Offices (DO) maintains and controls all the hardware, software, and services supporting the Department and its Bureaus in all areas of Information Technology and Security.  The Treasury Operations Center’s (TOC) duty is to collect, integrate, and synchronize Treasury operations information to support leadership’s decision making process, under normal and emergency operational conditions for all of Treasury and its Bureaus.

The scope of this contract includes (1) a 24×7 situational awareness, or monitoring and alerting services, (2) an integrated, web based, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) contingency operating environment hosted by the contractor, accessible 24×7 by Treasury emergency management personnel, and (3) consulting services in support of IT security.

5.1. 24×7 Monitoring and Alerting Services, operating from redundant and geographically dispersed centers and a web-based system secured in accordance with federal IT security requirements.

5.2. 24×7, web-based COTS Contingency Operating Environment, customizable by Treasury, secured in accordance with federal IT security requirements, integrated with the situational awareness system.
